Nick Palatas

22 year-old American actor

He played Norville "Shaggy" Rogers in the film, Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins and more recently in the upcoming film Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster which is set to air in the fall of 2010.

In October 2009 TMZ, reported that, Palatas accidentally cut off a part of his thumb while working with a table saw. It has since healed, and is in perfect working condition.

He also is said to have auditioned to replace Casey Kasem as Shaggy in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated after his retirement, but he lost the role to Matthew Lillard.
